A surveillance audit is conducted yearly until the next full audit.

FDA / IMS
An inspection of the manufacturing facility must be conducted on an annual basis by an FDA authorized auditor. Equipment cleanliness, plant construction and design, potential raw material cross-contamination and employee Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) are just a few of the categories evaluated during the plant audit.
Operation Clean Sweep®
Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) is an international program designed to prevent and help keep plastic litter materials out of the marine environment. The program was adapted to the methods of the plastics value chain to communicate and apply good practices, reducing pellet loss during production operation, transport and while transforming the pellets into goods of everyday life. Pro-Western Plastics has been recognized as an OCS partner for implementation of the Zero Pellet Loss program.
Pro-Western Plastics is recognized by the Workers Compensation Board as a Partner in Injury Reduction (PIR). PIR is designed to encourage injury prevention and the development of effective workplace health, safety and disability management systems.
